CCC’s Foster Program: Give Kittens a Loving Start

During kitten season, from early spring through late fall, Community Cats Coalition (CCC) has the greatest need for volunteers willing to open their hearts and homes to orphaned kittens or stray queens and their litters. Fostering provides temporary care and comfort, helping these vulnerable cats thrive until they find their forever homes.

CCC supports fosters by providing medical care, vaccinations, spay/neuter services, guidance, and ongoing assistance from our experienced staff. Fosters are responsible for providing daily care, food, litter, and love to their kittens, as well as bringing them to CCC’s clinic for required medical treatments and surgeries.

Fosters also play an important role in helping kittens find homes by promoting them to friends, family, and local networks. Beyond saving lives, fostering is a wonderful opportunity to teach children how to care for animals and can help families determine if they are ready to adopt a pet. By joining CCC’s Foster Program, volunteers make a lasting impact on the lives of kittens and the community as a whole.
